Damn this is interesting. Keep in mind the 8060S is powerful but will use some of that 32GB (configurable). Good weight too

If you don't know then why would you recommend a Mac.

I had no idea ASUS was making something like this and honestly I'm intrigued, but the reviews are not positive

If you don't mind spending another $500 just to get one with RTX 5060 and OLED, while a significantly weaker processor and 16GB soldered RAM, then yes feel free to.

Just my 2-cents;

I bought this at a much higher price point a few months ago, and quite enjoy it. It's very portable, decent battery life (8-10W idle without much effort), easily plays the games I want, and doesn't have much fan noise even with gaming/heavy workloads. The display is great as well, high refresh rate and plenty bright. There's also a second NVME slot, which I immediately populated with another 1TB ssd. The power brick is a bit chonky, but if you're not pushing its power, you can likely get by on 100W USB-C charging while out and about.

I have three minor complaints:
•The keyboard backlight is insanely bright, even at the lowest level. Why??? It has three levels, and anything above level one is way too bright.
•Asus software still sucks. Just get GHelper, it's made using this device so much better.
•The WiFi card sucks also. Just spend the $20 on Amazon and get an AX210 card, otherwise you'll likely run into speed and latency issues.

At $1,400, I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. I spent $1,999 when buying mine to replace a Thinkpad, and while this sale hurts my soul (and wallet), it's a great device. Feel free to ask any questions you have, I'd be happy to answer them.

Quote from Renanmarc :
Aren't we on slickdeals?! The g14 with the 5060 constantly shows up at 1100 or less, so what you're saying only makes sense if you're not willing to wait for a sale.
I certainly remember this is slickdeals as I post here regularly, but it seems that you have forgotten. Search up G14 here and show me how long ago was it $1100 or less, it sure as heck is not constantly. Instead of being snarky, try to be aware of the current state of the PC market and component prices. The 5060 G14 isn't ever coming down to $1100, from its new inflated retail price of $2300, at least not until BF this year, and that's also a big IF because there's good chance the prices are going to be even more inflated by that time.
On second thought, here you go, help yourself: https://slickdeals.net/search?q=zephyrus+g14&searcharea=deals&searchin=first&isUserSearch=1&searchtype=normal&filters%5Bforum%5D%5B%5D=0&sort=recent&filters%5Brating%5D%5B%5D=all&filters%5Bdate%5D%5B%5D=1095&page=1

Can you natively run Windows in a Mac? Without the need for Parallel or VM
