I agree, it was squeaking non-stop in store when I was testing it. I couldn't bring myself to get this. But it was soft and comfortable.

the faux leather is bad. started peeling within an year. the chair was not as solid as the manager chair from office depot(same price) which i used for 7 years(had to give it away).

I just assembled and sitting in it now.

I was at Costco last night and didn't really want to load the box in my car, but checking online it was $20 more.

I'm only 150 lbs, so I'll see how it ages or the next week.
