the 1 star reviews are saying this is cheap flimsy and seems to fail a lot. The fact that 9% of all reviews are 1* makes me think that its hot garbage. most of all amazon 5* reviews are fake / paid for.

I bought a similar lamp for my new theater room. I thought it would be cool, and provide a little bit of light so we could see the buttons on the remotes. Nope, just kept shocking my hubby every time he touched it. Too much trouble to send it back.

1 star reviews are off putting but at the price it's tempting. I have a similar one that works well. But id like to have another one for the opposite side of the couch. Anyone see any deals on something similar in cheap price range?

These look a lot like the name brand, DayBetter, same base. Interesting enough, even though they offer party colors, I just simply leave them on the white setting. They are smart so I have them coming on when it's dark and turning off at 11 PM every night. . Not as smart as Govee but worth $15 apiece. I don't regret buying them. Even the remote is exactly the same.
