Same. I got the MIPS one with light for $18 and the non MIPS one for $8. Can't really tell a difference holding them side by side. I hope to never discover the difference in any other way but have them just in case.

Welp, I certainly missed a great deal then.
But seeing as I don't have a time machine, and I missed that deal, I don't see what's to laugh at here. It's still a good deal, just not as good as the one you were lucky to jump on. Besides, they aren't the same exact helmet so it's not a direct comparison but for sure $8 was a fantastic price.

The deal is gone for the LED version on Amazon, but the non-LED Caden MIPS II is $48. The non-LED is $48 at Walmart as well. And the LED version is available for $58 at Walmart so still an excellent deal.

Bought a non-LED from Walmart myself. I had the Giro Cormick MIPS before this, and I loved the matte look but it's no longer available. Thank you!

MIPS helmets with SLIGHTLY shift on the inside to help dampen the impact on the head oppose to non-mips where you get the full direct impact without the inside shifting a bit.

Appalling to think how many millions of dollars that patent has produced for whoever the hell MIPS is. A Captain Obvious miniscule but critical engineering idea is dividing the privileged (receiving better protection from brain damage) from the less privileged (can't afford MIPS helmets).
