This model does come on sale for the same price, both in-warehouse and online with $5 shipping, so if you wait it might come on sale for you to have shipped to you. It is funny that the normal sale price doesn't attract attention, but as soon as it's on clearance for the same price, a deal becomes popular. Same thing happens at my local Costco as well, people see clearance and they jump.

These too? I have 5 of the box shaped Winix and 1 of them has lasted a long time no issues, one makes only a little noise, one is loud, and two scream 😂 I was hoping the cylinder style would hold up better. I saw that people do the fan bearings with soldering just haven't got around to trying that.

Also the flow rates of the C610 is weird that until you put it to the highest level, it doesn't much that much air, on the lower settings. The C909 moves a lot more air (granted bigger) at level 2 and 3 compared to the C610 which I found only moved air on the turbo setting. That said, this is $100, but I ended up returning the one I had for the C909 and have zero regrets paying the extra money upfront given filters over the lifetime would be cheaper on the C909.
