BTW the website says that this is in stock at my warehouse but phone app doesn't register the item #. I'll be passing anyhoo. Reviews aren't great.

I've had the same issue with other items on the app. FWIW this TV didn't show up for me at $999 either and there was definitely stock at the store.A few of the 1 star reviews are unrelated to the TV.Like you said though, probably faster ways to spend $800 at Costco that won't last as long lol.If my store had it in stock, I would have had a hard time saying no.

You really made me look it up, and I was wrong, retail was $799 I paid $679, it was 2007.Ironically I was on slick deals back then too, it was a a lot different then.....

I was close, lol! Wow, that really was a killer deal back then. I was able to locate one of these at my local Costco, but I'm not sure I want/need it. I will need to research the quality and reviews first...

I have the 75-inch U65 Pro in a very bright room where other TVs would suffer from the glare. The anti-glare screen and super brightness make the sun irrelevant in that room. I would recommend this TV where glare is an issue -- e.g. sunroom, covered patio, big south facing windows, etc.

It's a good tv. I bought it. Though not as good as the expensive samsung I had. I like it and at this price, I can replace these tvs every 4-5 years to have newer tech
