It's good for up to 5 years from when it was made unopened and then 2 years once it's opened. The code on the bottle is 2 digit year and then the day of the year.
edit - correction that it's still good for 2 yrs if you open it 5 years from the bottled date per link:

If i have excess expired stuff, I put up to a double dose of the old stuff when I'm adding new Stabil to fuel.

I think unopened, it lasts for a long time, but after opening, it's only good for two years. You're supposed to write on the label when you first open it.

hurricane season kicking up here in Flo-Rida.. time to stock up on gas for the genny... put a little splash of this in your gas cans to keep it fresh for months... and then pour the gas in your least expensive car or lawn mowers at the end of the season if it was not needed..

As someone that has opened a bottle and used it for over 2 yrs - the vibrant red color starts fading. Another tell quality is going down

I've never even checked the blinker fluid levels because I never use the blinkers anyway because of those stupid steering wheel buttons.
