I bought for my wife but I doubt it fits. She's a size 4. Ask me how I know 😂

Honest only good when the battery is okay. It will eventually start failing in less than a year. Mine lasted 6 months then the battery started dying in hours.

Battery lasts a little over a year, right after the warranty expires. Check the reddit threads, buyer beware on these. Switched to Oura ring & havent looked back

Remember that the ring swole and had to be surgically removed and the woman was denied boarding to the flight due to this swelling ring situation. Samsung quickly shush the whole incident and customer interest drastically reduced. Meanwhile Oura had a bumper year. Just an FYI

Buyer beware: After a year of owning my samsung ring, the battery doesn't even last a full day now. If I sleep longer than 8 hours on a weekend, the battery even dies before I wake up sometimes.

this is a garbage first-gen product; this coming from a long-time Samsung supporter, you might get a year out of it before the battery either stops charging or falls off a cliff after a 100% charge. Waiting to see if they ever come out with a 2nd gen but I think they're more focused on the watch tech as they've been working on certified medical device readings for blood pressure and diabetes (needless blood glucose monitoring) which opens up a large market and insurance reimbursements

Had this exact issue with Gen 1—did a warranty return under a year and got the Gen 2 replacement. It's been rock solid for over a year now.
Absolutely avoid Gen 1 (notorious for battery failures; pretty sure one even caused a safety scare on a flight). Gen 2 feels a bit cheaper/lighter with more plastic and scratches easier, but functionally it's night and day—plus no subscription.
Well worth it if you can catch Gen 2 under $200.

Update: FYI on Galaxy Ring build quality / batches (Early vs. Later production runs)
Just to clarify what I meant earlier regarding the build quality—there's definitely a difference between the launch day batch vs. the later production runs, which i referred to as Gen 1 vs Gen 2. (material)
On the launch units, people noticed the outer PVD coating scratched way too easily under daily wear, exposing the raw, lighter titanium underneath, which i can attest to. Samsung clearly took that feedback and made stealth revisions to later batches. Whatever tweaking they did to the manufacturing/coatings actually fixed the early scratching, paint peeling, and battery drain issues... but it feels like they did it at the expense of the materials.
The newer production rings feel noticeably cheaper/lighter in hand compared to the initial batch, even if the durability/finish holds up better now.

Size 4? Did you even flinch or sleep through it?

Samsung rings have a history of the battery swelling pretty bad making it to where you can't even wear the ring
