Is there a shelf life on these? If one needs to be changed out every year, can the last one last until the forth year?

They need to be changed every 6 months. Leaving one in for a year would produce some really funky stuff in the filter. I don't think they have a limited shelf life. At least not within a few years.

If you mean shelf life unopened: "The shelf life of an unused, sealed filter is indefinite. Filters should be kept in the sealed Brita® bag and stored in a cool, dry place until you're ready to use it."

That's a 2 count. Although the description says 4 pack. It seems ppl received only 2 though in some reviews. 🧐 FYI you will be getting a 4 pack of original i just chatted with a rep. They said the description says original 4 pack not elite. Shady move from them showing an elite picture.

Most bulk stuff sold on eBay is counterfeit. That's how they make the margins on the lower prices-- fakes.

I've learned recently that this elite filter does no work on all forever chemicals or micro plastics Frown . tried zerowater, not worth. buy a 3 stage ro filter.

They came in the original box and packaging. It's also not that much cheaper than amazon, it was $25 for 2.

Just weighed it and they might be fake lol. Only weighs 1.84 oz, which is significantly lighter than my brita plus filter (3.49oz) purchased from Amazon (they were the seller)

Edit 2:
Actually according to Amazon and Target, this is close to the specified weight on the listing. I will compare with the costco filters before raising a fuss Smilie
