Really good deal for a new Wilton considering you can find used ones for $300-400 on marketplace that aren't super clapped out. A decent Bridgeport used can be had for $200-300
These are really nice for someone doing a lot of machining or critical work holding. At previous jobs they were essential.
For home and hobby use i bought a lower quality one from Shars and am really happy with it. That said the Wilton is far superior. You do get what you pay for with these. Daily heavy use i think the Shars version would not last a long time before the threads would wear or fail.
