The basic problem is that it is very difficult to determine some fakes. I got bit by a fake Apple cable. Sealed box was perfect. Packaging was perfect. Cosmetically, item was perfect. Only when it died prematurely, did I cut it open and discovered that the internal parts and construction were counterfeit such that it was poorly made so that it broke quickly. I am very suspicious when ebay has many airpod pros new in a sealed box for 1/3rd the price from Apple. I wont even buy from Amazon because they intermix stock from different vendors thus contaminating stock.

Received a pair that was unregisterable to my apple/findmy account as they were still registered to original owner, despite being listed as 'open box,' so they lied and sold me used airpods instead of 'open box.' Took a month to get a refund, but they did pay me back eventually. Big pain in the butt, TBH.

In store refund to walmart has always been smooth and quick so far for me

they are shady af. Bought multiple items which were not as described or unlocked. They have labeled their business as "Walmart" which should be illegal as well. Its deception at best. Mostly i will return if its not in excellent to new condition

I ordered two 3rd-generation AirPods from Walmart, as clearly stated in the product description, but I received 1st-generation AirPods instead. While the condition is acceptable for renewed items, there is a significant difference between the two generations in terms of features and performance. This is not what I paid for, and I am very disappointed with my purchase. I expected to receive the product that was advertised.

Got mine today. Inspected, took apart, and triple checked everything pretty much. Mine are legitimate. I would say they aren't really "like new" condition like they described. I can see small surface scratches on the charging case and the box has been thru it lol

Got mine. It was in a generic cardboard box. The case has some wear on it if you shine a light over it. Took a few tries to connect to an iPhone. Oddly, it first asked do you want to connect "Not Your Airpod Pros", subsequent connects no longer said that though and just said "Airpod Pros".

They were genuine Airpods Pro 3.
