I bought one of these the last time Slickdeals was promoting it (although under a different fly-by-night brand name) and it was laughably inaccurate. Many months later i found it in my desk and messed with it again and it was just dead, even after changing the battery. It's just another cheap electronic destine to add to the landfills, all part of the many immoral CCP money extractor schemes that litter Amazon these days. I've stopped falling for these finally but it took several hits over the head to finally get it. Hope to save someone else from feeling stupid.

Not sure what you mean, I can filter out 1 star reviews just fine. The common negative point is that the oxygen reading is inaccurate, providing lower values than expected.

This could be due to a poor contact or weak battery/light.

I believe Amazon removed the ability to search reviews for keywords for some people, myself included. At one point I was presented with only 8 reviews and an option to request permission to see more. I had to wait several days before the keyword search returned. Frustrating.

I have (had?) a few of 'these'. . . purchased for parents and aunts. 02 level is important when elderly folks get a cold. . difference between a doc visit or the ER. (Then of course, Covid). 😕 As they weren't often used since, I am not sure where they are! I did not get this one, but at this price, I was going to order. Reading reviews, it sounds like this won't be useful if it sits for time.

For others - if you have a short term need? Or maybe a consistent need. . . this is a good price. (Also - this is me - I prefer the white light to the red light for pulse and 02). Can a pulse-ox look nice? Smilie
