ah an RX 6500XT is slow and only 4 GB ram for GPU wasnt even 5 years a thing to go for ! for

No, and yes. No because the GPU of ps5 pro is equivalent to around a amd 6800 which is trade blows with a 5060ti 16gb. The cpu definitely beats it. The ps5 cpu is still the same from the og ps5 and holds back the pro. Up to you to decide which is better.

A GTX 5060 card is more powerful than PS5 Pro's grfx chip. Same with CPU. 5060 also has access to DLSS, which is better than Sony's PSSR for frame generation.

The only thing Pro's grfx has on 5060 is that it has more RAM allocated to it.

If you're looking for a budget steam machine, check out the BC-250 mining card. I know this is not the place to mention it but it's literally a PS5 board that was repurposed for crypto mining but a large community has worked together to get it running linux and Steam OS on it for primarily gaming use. It's a hell of a deal if you don't mind tinkering with it a bit to get there.
