This has a chance to blow out your wax seal. The cheap ones like this also have a chance to dislodge the main head up further into the toilet then it becomes irretrievable. A new toilet would have to be replaced. I did a lot of research on these things and looked through Amazon reviews in the past.

Have used similar a few times (don't ask!) with success. Have heard that these hurricane blasts have been known to cause leaks somewhere down the line -- likely due to already compromised pipes/seals -- tho have never had a problem myself.

Thank you. Ordered one after reading the description which mentioned kitchen sink as well. I am not sure how to make the plumbing line air tight to blast it in full force with the garbage disposal opening on a double sink and with the odor escape outlet! But hoping they will have some direction for it. I have a slow drain with occasional back up with heavy use.

I'm sure you will try to convince us you are not a plumber....Kinda like how HVAC guys say that we will blow ourselves up if we try to replace a capacitor on our heat pump.

This looks like a Plumber's FAVORITE tool!

Because you'll be calling him to fix your pipes when this ruptures them. If you're going to get something more extreme than a plunger, buy a snake. This is a burst pipe waiting to happen.
