The harbor freight one is noticably nicer. For the price you can't complain, but on the one I have trying to opening the draw just drags the whole box unless you hold it

Yeah, they add processing fees for store pickup too, but gives me an excuse to look around 😂

This toolbox is a joke compared to the HF box. My daughter got the performax box as a Christmas soft and I have a HF box and there's no comparison. The paint finish is subpar, the metal feels thinner and the drawer slides are not ball bearing and bind up easily.

i should hope the HFT box is better. it's about twice the cost (at an "average" sale price, EG $16 after coupon this past weekend). maybe they will be $10 on black friday again tho.

wanted to finish off a store credit so i grabbed one, ok for $9 (or $8 after store credit). drawers dont have ball bearing slides. kinda cute.

i have not seen the HFT one or Lowes Kobalt one to compare
