This foam cannon kit stands out for combining foam spraying and rinse cleaning in one setup, with a quick valve switch that can be handy when washing one section at a time. The bundle also includes five nozzle tips, and the kit comes with extra caps and o rings for servicing. The main knocks are bulk and weight, since the dual attachment can feel awkward compared with quick disconnects or a simple pump sprayer for small jobs. Foam results and durability also seem to depend on the cannon and technique, so it is a practical convenience piece rather than a must have upgrade.

  • The dual connector can switch between foam and water modes using a push valve, which helps when washing one section at a time.

  • The kit can be quick to use for garage workflows, since connecting the hose and flipping the power switch enables immediate washing.

  • The dual-connector accessory can be purchased separately for $14.99, which lets buyers upgrade an existing foam cannon without buying the full kit.

  • The kit includes extra caps and o-rings, and tightening the plunger plastic cap can address a reported cap-falling-off failure mode.

  • The included nozzle tips can add limited value because the nozzles are effectively treated as a $6 add-on.

  • The foam cannon setup can be unwieldy for small jobs, and a pump sprayer may be a simpler option for cleaning just one section.

  • Dish soap can strip clear coat protection and degrade paint protection over time, so it may be a poor choice for car washing.

  • The foam cannon bottle may struggle to mix water and soap properly, since the mixture can stay runny regardless of brand.

I see frustration and sadness in the future of anyone who buys this and the clue is in the reviews! There's a reason it's being so heavily discounted!

Can I buy that dual purpose section somewhere to add into my existing foam cannon ? (Assuming it lets me switch between foam and rinsing off without a second hose or disconnecting cannon )
I bought a 2 function splitter that lets you put a risne nozzle on the top, and the bottle sprayer on the bottom. It has a selection slider knob to select between them. So much easier. Of course you can do this manually yourself and save the $$

Does not have paint safety focused lubrication molecules or chemistry, over time it strips plastic (oil byproducts) of their rigidity and texture that comes from inherit lipid chains, can leave a residue that can etch into the paint over time, if you have protection such as wax or ceramic, it strips and degrades that quickly as well....I mean car soap is cheap theres no excuse to not use it. You can get a small thing of Meguiars or Griot's for under $10 and it will last you a long time.....With that being said, if you could care less about your car's plastics, paint and longevity regarding those, use dish soap.

I see two one star reviews. The plunger plastic cap fell off. Mine weren't tight but righty tighty fixed that, plus they include all the extra caps and o-rings you'll need to service the device. Common in pressure washers.

The person who said it worked once... They could have troubleshoot the issue.

Its nice when you're washing one section at a time. Instead of swapping a bunch of times you just push the push the valve over.

I would suggest getting a foam cannon with a wide mouth bottle. Makes it much easier to fill and clean.

Except for maybe a ceramic coating, You will wash off pretty much any type of protection you have on your clearcoat. Dish soap is one of the worst soaps you can use to wash a car unless you're prepping for some DIY paint correction.

If you're doing one section just use a pump sprayer. No reason to haul around this unwieldy thing and fire up the pressure washer and all that nonsense.

Pressure washer lives in my garage. Connect hose, flip power switch, get to washing. If I'm washing after driving on the beach I need the pressure washer anyway for the undercarriage attachment.

I don't understand the point of this either, do people not let soap dwell? This thing also seems bulky and not what I would want when I'm rinsing.
