This refurbished Aspire 16 AI stands out as a light 16 inch laptop with strong specs for the money, especially 32GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD, Intel Arc 140V graphics, and a 120Hz touch display. The screen is described as bright, crisp, semi matte, and smooth thanks to VRR down to 30Hz, while the 65W charger keeps the carry load simple. It also looks capable for everyday gaming and some local AI or machine learning work. The main knocks are build quality, possible cooling and fan noise concerns, and a wireless card failure on arrival in one case. The price feels less compelling than earlier refurb pricing, though warranty coverage and coupon discounts help soften it.
The laptop includes 32GB RAM and a 1TB SSD, which supports local AI and ML workflows.
The included 65W charger is described as simple to carry, and the listing reportedly includes a two-year warranty.
The display is described as crisp and bright, with VRR support down to 30Hz for smoother visuals.
The system is reported to run non-AAA gaming quickly and to emulate Switch in docked mode without issues.
The listing's "Intel Arc Graphics 140V" labeling is questioned as not being "AI."
A refurb unit reportedly arrived with a non-working wireless network card despite driver attempts.
The 1920x1200 "2K" description is clarified as closer to the 1080P category than true 2560x1440.
The $700 price is viewed as less compelling compared with a prior purchase price of $590 for the same model.
