All aluminum. I think it feels pretty solid. Not MacBook solid but decently solid for a relatively light laptop. I really like the battery life on this laptop due to the newer more efficient chip.That two year warranty is nice too.

Nah. Aspire is a much lower build quality than Swift. Plus, worst screen.

Bought a refurb Acer Swift 16 last year and its the worst laptop Ive ever owned. Runs so hot it burns your legs, sounds like a tornado, and lags like crazy with just a few tabs open. I just don't think they have the thermals needed for a modern laptop cpu
