Speedway's 50 cent off per gallon text offer is a handy way to trim fuel costs, especially when it stacks with other discounts and can be loaded into the Speedway app. The deal has also worked with price lock and app payment, and the same text flow has triggered other codes like AGAIN and SAVE. The main catches are that redemption appears limited to one per day, some locations or regions have not accepted it, and local pricing can offset part of the savings. A useful fill up discount when the station and code cooperate.

  • Texting AGAIN to 711711 can trigger the discount to appear in the Speedway app.

    qkumbr

  • Speedway price lock can work with the 50 cents per gallon promotion when paying in the app.

    1birdman1

  • The 7th and 11th Speedway text deal can stack with other discounts you have, but only on those dates.

    shopperuvdealz

  • The 50 cents off per gallon promotion can bring Speedway prices in line with nearby stations in some areas.

    vkgt

  • The 50 cents off per gallon promotion can fail depending on location, including Los Angeles and Wisconsin.

    CleverKite9806agrawalmk

  • The 7th and 11th texting deal may fail due to a "current location" error for Cricket Wireless or AT&T.

    kevinbh93

  • Speedway may limit the activated AGAIN code to one redemption per day, requiring multiple phone numbers to redeem more than once daily.

    mskerr58

  • Some Speedway locations can block redemption when pumps are marked "closed," preventing both fuel purchase and the discount.

Text AGAIN to 96001 ......Speedway is continuing their 50 cents off per gallon promotion for those who text AGAIN to 96001 and use their linked Speedway Rewards or Phone number at the pump on the 7th and 11th each month through October 11th. (Thanks to the awesome peeps who posted on the 7-11 thread about this also working for Speedway https://slickdeals.net/f/19748883-7-eleven-50-cents-off-per-gallon-through-october-11th-every-7th-and-11th-day

(I added this comment on the existing Speedway savings posting and also submitted message to Slickdeals asking if the top of that posting could be updated to reflect this....it was suggested to submit this info separately, as the other posting is so old. I realize some of the items in that other posting are also valid.....https://slickdeals.net/f/19509627-speedway-gas-discount-codes )

First off, I don't understand why this isn't ranked higher. Isn't this a really good deal?

Second, I have Cricket Wireless and it said I can't text 96001 from my "current location." Anyone else having this issue on Cricket or AT&T?

If you got Texaco or chevron near you, it's not. You can sign up for their rewards and get five $1.00 off a gallon fill ups. New email and texting app number = rinse repeat.

That must be it then. I do have Chevrons near me. I'll look into the $1 off, too. Thanks!

The Chevron deal is awesome. I've used 3 of the 5 $1 off discounts. I'm going to add this one also. I think I will be able to use both discounts over the next couple of months.

Is AGAIN stackable when anything else? $1 off at the Chevron near me would still be high

Any codes you suggest to add for speedway?
