Speedway's 50 cent off per gallon text offer is a handy way to trim fuel costs, especially when it stacks with other discounts and can be loaded into the Speedway app. The deal has also worked with price lock and app payment, and the same text flow has triggered other codes like AGAIN and SAVE. The main catches are that redemption appears limited to one per day, some locations or regions have not accepted it, and local pricing can offset part of the savings. A useful fill up discount when the station and code cooperate.

I did the price lock yesterday, and it works with this deal. Just pay in app. I know this may not help TODAY, but it can for the 11th!
You can also finagle it so that it'll lock to a lower price location if you know how to "move" your location.

AGAIN and SAVE worked for me and show up in the app. FUEL and FUEL30 don't seem to be applying, even though when I text 96001 I get a message back that I've already claimed these. I have never redeemed them yet, so not sure what's happening. Are these one time or do they stay on till the expiration date? Thanks!

Depends on time of day I work there.
How could the queue have anything to do with the time of day you're working there? ...unless you, personally, are in charge of keeping the pumps up and running...I guess?

Thanks, but expect to wait in in lines like back in the 70's.
definitely YMMV and when you go. I used the 7/11 offering 4 times and never had to wait.

That must be it then. I do have Chevrons near me. I'll look into the $1 off, too. Thanks!
$1 off the highest priced gasoline of any station really isn't so much of a deal

Can I pump gas multiple times per day on the 7th or 11th for the discount or is it limited to once?
No. I learned the hard way today that the activated AGAIN code at Speedway limits you to one redemption per day. You'll need to activate two (or more) phone numbers.

Once in awhile it's okay. I saw the videos on the top tier gas companies, but when there's a savings like this it doesn't hurt to run it every so often
If you have a ford.. it's the engine not the gas.

Can confirm that this works, HOWEVER, Speedway is more expensive than others in my area so even with the 50 cents off, it brings the price down to be in-line with BP, Thorntons, and the rest of the gas stations in the area. NW Suburbs of Chicago

If you got Texaco or chevron near you, it's not. You can sign up for their rewards and get five $1.00 off a gallon fill ups. New email and texting app number = rinse repeat.

what texting app are you using? I tried with a couple and it wont take their number
