Has anyone used this or similar and found it works well? I've always been curious to try, but my thumb is.... brown haha.

I use something similar which I 3d print, it is designed to keep your roots growing when you let the plant outgrow the container. Your plants will still stunt. These cells are very small and any plant will outgrow them rapidly. You would be better off just putting them in a dish tray or empty 10x20 tray with drainage and placing that inside a homemade humidity chamber (like a storage box). Plus these trays only last a couple of season. Just my opinion.
