Not sure if this is a price mistake or what.
Spalding TF Model M [spalding.com] indoor game ball is the Spalding version of the official Wilson NBA ball that's used in the league. It's made with actual leather, making it very much indoor only. And, like a baseball, you need to break it in for awhile for it to feel right. But everyone else is selling the ball for $230-$250.
Cost is $75 for mens size 7 and $100 for womens size 6. Again, not sure why. Shipping is $10 or $20 for priority. However, use coupon code SPA_CARTcrk5 for $5 off. Tax depends on state.
They also supposedly have 20% off for military, first responders, teachers, and more as verified through ID.me. However, I couldn't get it to work, so YMMV on that I guess.
Happy hoopin'!
Community Reviews
Spalding TF Model M is a leather indoor basketball that can land far below list price with stacked discounts, and the main appeal is premium feel for a serious break in period. The ball has shipped in good condition for some orders, and the leather is described as fine once it starts to wear in. The main cautions are that it arrives very overinflated, can feel slick or even stone hard at first, and some reviews flag peeling leather and air loss. A workable deal if you are comfortable with the break in and quality risk.

Yes. The OP code can stack with ID.me, and the email signup coupon can also bring the price down when ID.me does not work. Reported totals ranged from about $60 pre-tax/shipping to about $68 with tax and $9.99 shipping.
The ball has reported issues with leather peeling and losing air, but some orders were replaced by Spalding when problems came up. It is still a leather ball that needs break-in, so it may feel slick or hard at first.
It can arrive very overinflated, with reports of balls showing 13 PSI versus the recommended 8 PSI. Checking inflation before first use is a good idea.
Orders have shipped by FedEx and arrived within a few days, and at least one delivery came in good condition. The ball may still arrive fully pumped up, so it is worth checking before play.
It is described as a fine ball, but slick and much harder during break-in than the Wilson Evolution. The Evolution is the ball some players keep going back to for a softer feel.

Maybe because I used a different email address with paypal than I did with id.me?
