I used Salicylic Acid for psoriasis. It helped. I used 30% Salicylic Acid. Not everyone can use it that strong but it was not a problem for me. Salicylic Acid is similar to aspirin.

It is probably easy to make but I got it from eBay.


For acne over-the-counter medications such as in this post are probably best.


Psoriasis is caused by skin growing too fast. Therefore a strong concentration of salicylic acid can be a useful treatment for people that can tolerate it. Acne is different. I do not want to mislead people into using a stronger salicylic acid than they need. And the best treatment for Psoriasis for me was vitamins (either A, D or E, I am not sure).
