Dual RP1400s for $699 each is a subwoofer sweet spot that we have never seen before. It's an insane pairing for under $1500.
Those two subs are a good example ime.
Generally speaking, if you define good performance by output, Klipsch may be the better choice.
If it's more on extension performance, the 12s may be the better choice.
Personally I'm glad they didn't squeeze in a 15".
A well designed 12" is probably the sweet spot for most home setups ime.
PowerBuys are probably the better buy anyway especially if it's a blind buy.
Around the same cost, new & you can return it if you truly not satisfied(at a cost).
