The product title "for drills" is somewhat misleading. Yes, you can use it in a drill, but it is for hex bits. And yes, you can get hex shank drill bits, but you're not going to drill a deeper hole with this unless your drill bit is of a greater diameter than the chuck on the end of the extension and that gets tricky with the limited grip of hex shank bits.


Think of this more as an extension for an impact or drill driver.

That's the actual name for this product. Impact drivers are a type of drill and this will work with both drill drivers and impact drivers

Anyone use this one before? I have used others and they twist and snap under moderate use with impact drivers.
