The power head is convenient but what a money-making scam from Ego. The attachments alone are "on-sale" for more than the tools from other companies. DeWalts cultivator bare tool is on-sale for $69.99 at Amazon.

How is it that dewalt can offer the entire tool with the motor for less than 1/2 the price of Ego's attachment with no motor?

Their multi line of tools are their luxury models. Got to compare apples to apples.

I'm not comparing value. I'm comparing cost. Why would it be cheaper to sell a product with a motor, charger and battery for significantly less than an attachment? If Ego can sell a tool with a motor and a charger and a battery for $153, how much do you think it costs to produce just an attachment? Less, right? Exactly.
