Not "bad" for what you get given it comes w/ a sub, but you have to know it sounds bright if you point it at your head, theyre designed for "normie" people that will point them flat/forward so that its slightly off axis, if you are more technical you can EQ them in app to much more ideal measurements and luckily Erin @ Erins audio corner did measure them via klippel so you can get them truly as flat/reference as possible. Personally I bought the Adam D3V which i think is a lot better of a speaker out of the box w/ much less finessing, but no subwoofer obv.

how are these compare to promedia heritage 2.1? im trying to replace it.
In measurements theyre some what similar that theyre both classic overly bright klipsch sound out of the box, but the heritage didnt come w/ an app to EQ them so you needed to do it w/ a 3rd party preamp or computer/streaming application to do it. I personally dont think theyre worth buying if you just turn your speakers off axis they'll do a similar enough of a thing.
I had this before. It can only do up to a mediocre 16-bit 48kHz audio in Windows 11. Klipsch support wasn't able to provide a workaround to this. Sound quality was kinda whatever too... I think even a modern low-midrange soundbar like the Klipsch Flexus 100 would be better than this lol
I don't know how much better these speakers are, but I gotta agree. The Promedia are very good for their price point.
edit- whoa! when did the promedia become $200??? I got the THX ones for $80 from Costco about 2 years ago!
