In this quarter of 2026? Doubtful. Besides, the 5070 only has 12GB of vRAM. It's fine for gaming, but let's not forget that a lot of people want this to double for LLM use.
Doubtful? The PNY 5070 has been $522 twice this month and I've seen another brand for this much. I can understand the argument for 16gb though if that's your thing.

The Woot deal that expired shortly after it was posted doesn't count.
I could go pick up 10 of these at MicroCenter today if I wanted.
I've seen 5070's for less than this if your patient. To each their own I guess.
Can be patient yes. Or just need something. I am still iffy about 12GB but I will try a 3060 12GB to see if it is useful enough soon. Maybe I can start using a 12GB 5070 also. I wish there are more dual fan smaller form factor. 3 fans too but for many microATX boxes I want to build
Bestbuy mistaken clearance. 5060 TI as low as $300. 5070 TI as low as $500. (Most got it at $700).
I fought hard for that BB deal. Couldn't reproduce anywhere in the Raleigh Durham area. Tired 5 B&M locations and number of calls and chats. Epic deal for those who could get it though. Sadly the best I could find the 5060 for was $530 , that appeared to be the lowest clearance price in my region (and because of that no store would help me place an order for the $310 price that many achieved).
FWIW, I didn't waste any gas on these trips since I just happened to be near a BB when making the attempts however I was several times subjected to buying my wife something in the adjacent Hobby Lobby since those two stores seem to be paired rather frequently. I also impulse purchased a rifle when walking into an adjacent Academy....so the deal seeking did end up costing me a little $$$ and netted me no new GPU

Not a good deal, at least not for those whose primary focus isn't LLM an AI. Put up another $100 and get a 9070 XT that's over 50% faster in games. This just does not make sense for gamers.
