These were sub-$100 with some creative coins, coupons, rebate stacking. I bought 2 last time. Legitimately 20+ mph. Not up hill though. 1 came all black, the other all gray. Keeps the kids from fighting over them.

Couldn't order this specific one to my region but found a model with suspension for a little more. ~$200 and there was a $23 coupon. Excited. This brand has some decent reviews on YouTube. If you search up cheap Amazon scooter it's this same brand

EDIT: The one I ended up ordering was a different brand, Maxshot, looks very similar especially the screen. Also I didn't realize OP's deal also has a suspension. That is really good for the price, tho the youtube reviews say Aovopro is still decent without the suspension

Which rebate sites work? What other ways to get price down? I've seen other cheaper ones with 350W smaller batteries and no suspension.

I almost ordered one, but multiple reviews say that it takes a long time to come to a full stop at higher speeds. Fine if you know you are coming to a stop ahead and can time it, but dangerous if you have to stop from something unexpected.
Does anyone have experience with one of these that can verify whether that's accurate?

The faster you go, the longer your breaking distance needs to be. Drum breaks will need a little more breaking distance than mechanical or hydraulic disc breaks, but drum breaks (and hydraulic) need the least maintenance. There's also electric breaking which helps slow these scooters faster than a bicycle (with similar payload weight) would.I think the main thing is to go slower around people, slow down before you get to a spot where you might have to stop, and generally only go full throttle if you see an open and clear stretch of path. Going less than full throttle extends your range too.

I ordered one about the same price form listing and they are massive. 50 inches from front wheel to top of handle. The ones on your Pic look smaller (probably angled of picture). But if yours are smaller, then it explains the price difference. Also, 500w vs the typical 350w. Here's a pic with Razor's Powercore 90
