The URLIFE E20 is a budget fat tire e-bike that stands out for strong value, easy throttle riding, and enough power for short commutes and casual hills. Real-world range lands around 20 miles, with top speed typically in the mid to high 20s depending on pedal assist, terrain, and rider weight. The frame feels solid for the price, the Shimano seven speed setup works well enough, and the battery is removable with a key lock. Main drawbacks are the bike's weight, changing checkout prices, and occasional shipping or brake issues, including warped rotors and squealing brakes. A practical low-cost ride if you can live with the compromises.

  • Commuters with a short, mostly flat ride who want a cheap e-bike, because it can hold about 20 miles of range and reaches roughly 28 mph with pedal assist.

  • Parents buying a first e-bike for a teen or kid, because it keeps running after rain and drops while still feeling fast enough for neighborhood rides.

  • Riders who want a low-profile bike for sidewalk cruising, because the frame looks like a regular bicycle and draws little attention.

  • People who want a throttle-capable bike for hill help, because PAS levels let it behave like a moped and toggle power on climbs.

  • Riders who need strong hill performance, because it caps around 28 mph and struggles on a big hill.

  • People expecting quiet braking, because the brakes can squeal loudly and replacement pads may be hard to source.

  • Riders who want a lightweight premium build, because the bike is heavy and the components are not top-tier.

  • People who need consistent top speed without pedal assist, because it is much slower and can feel less efficient than walking.

Is it pedal assist or can it cruise at a set speed ?
It basically has three Electric settings. Each one is labeled PAS 1-3. Well there's actually a "PAS 0" as well. PAS stands for pedal assist. But in actuality you don't have to Pedal at all. You can just use the throttle like a moped. The PAS 0 means you have no motor at all and you would just pedal it like a bicycle. Level one means it will Top out at 15 mph of motor. 2 tops out around 20. And 3 technically tops out around 28. But that may vary based on Terrain and Rider weight. I usually leave it in zero and pedal as much as I can for the exercise. Then I can easily toggle to one of the other levels and just moped up hills and so forth.

Yes it can. It has a key lock on it. You just lift the seat turn the key and pull the battery up. The battery even has a little handle on it that folds up for easier carry.

Make sure you picked green. Black is not on sale.

Also code USSR35 works for $35 off $239+. Do note that you cannot stack it with code YUSAF35.

Replacement batteries exist on Aliexpress, but the ones that explicitly state that they are compatible with the URLIFE E20 cost nearly as much as the ebike. Would probably make more sense to buy a second bike as a parts bike.

This has been a great bike for my son so far. He has put over 130 miles on it and loves it. The only negative is that the brakes squeal pretty bad and I can't find any high quality replacement pads. I assume the OEM replacement pads are the same and will also squeal but I can't say for sure.

Just received and assembled mine. Have only put a few miles on it, but it seems like an absolute steal for $300.

I read way too many forums / reddits on this and was worried I'd need to scale back the pedal assist for my wife. Not the case at all. I think the latest models have addressed the controller issues that plagued previous models that made it fly out the gates (even on pedal assist 1).
