The URLIFE E20 is a budget fat tire e-bike that stands out for strong value, easy throttle riding, and enough power for short commutes and casual hills. Real-world range lands around 20 miles, with top speed typically in the mid to high 20s depending on pedal assist, terrain, and rider weight. The frame feels solid for the price, the Shimano seven speed setup works well enough, and the battery is removable with a key lock. Main drawbacks are the bike's weight, changing checkout prices, and occasional shipping or brake issues, including warped rotors and squealing brakes. A practical low-cost ride if you can live with the compromises.

Common Questions (5)

  • Real-world speed is about 22 mph without pedaling and around 28.8 mph when pedaling, with PAS 3 topping out near 28 mph depending on terrain and rider weight. PAS 1 and 2 are roughly 15 mph and 20 mph, respectively.

  • A full charge is reported to deliver about 20 miles of range with pedal assist. Range may be a bit higher for lighter riders, and several owners describe the battery life as decent for the price.

  • Yes. The battery has a key lock; lift the seat, turn the key, and pull the battery up. It also has a fold-up handle for easier carrying.

  • Yes. The settings menu can be opened by pressing + and - together for 1 second, and the global speed cap can be set through the PO 8 menu. One reported setup capped the bike at 10 mph, and the limit applies across PAS levels rather than individually.

  • Yes. The green color is the sale version, while black is not on sale. The USSR35 code works for $35 off $239+, and it cannot be stacked with YUSAF35.

Just received and assembled mine. Have only put a few miles on it, but it seems like an absolute steal for $300.

I read way too many forums / reddits on this and was worried I'd need to scale back the pedal assist for my wife. Not the case at all. I think the latest models have addressed the controller issues that plagued previous models that made it fly out the gates (even on pedal assist 1).
Those were my exact thoughts when I put mine together. How could they even manufacture and ship a bike like this and still make a profit?

The pedal assist on mine is not as aggressive as people used to claim. So I think you're right they have toned it down on the new models.

I've added a phone holder, speaker, rear passenger cushion, and fold out passenger foot pegs. Might switch out the seat at some point. Otherwise all is good...

Can you share the link for the passenger cushion and pegs?

Passenger cushion is this one from Walmart. Nothing special whatsoever. But it's better than sitting on the metal. It was 15 bucks https://www.walmart.com/ip/Univer...9949354305

The foot pegs were these from Amazon. I bought two sets of these. One for this bike and one for my cybervello ek12. Both have the same size bolts . One of the two pairs I had to dremel out the bolt opening just a tiny bit. The other one was fine I don't know why that was. Also both these bikes has a small bolt in the way from being able to get these pegs completely vertical. So they have to tilt just a little bit to fit. But they still work fine and the kids love them as foot pegs. They are only 10 bucks a set and are actually made pretty well...

I ride a push bike and my wife rides this. I monkeyed with the settings and figured out how to cap her to 10 mph (so my cruiser can keep up). I wish there were a way to set mph limits for each PAS setting but it seems to be global and apply to all.

Here's what I did:
Press + and - buttons at the same time for 1 second to access additional menus. Use the M button to cycle through settings as follows.

PO 1: Brightness
1-3 (default 2 / mine: 3)

PO 2: Miles / KMs
0-1 (default/mine: 1 Miles)

PO 4: ??? (Anyone have ideas?)
0-60 (default/mine: 10)

PO 8: max KM per hour
0-100 (default 45 / mine: 16, which is 10 MPH)
