Would it be ridiculous to use these as portable panels if I have the transport space? We go glamping with stuff stored in a trailer so I can easily transport it. (Maybe mount it to the trailer roof in the future)

Not at all! The foldable ("portable") ones are laminated and dont have near the lifespan these more traditional ones have. If you have a safe way to transport them that would be a good use case.

if you have the space these will out perform the normal portable ones. You can get some decent cheap mounts that will be portable too

I bring two 100w rigid panels when camping to run my 12v freezer (off an ecoflow). Call it overkill, but when you bust out ice cream on day 4 of camping people go nuts.

Is there anything extra you had to do to reinforce the panels? Seems like ppl are saying they're more fragile?

They offer $12 Discount with PayPal Pay Later on order $139. But they allow us to buy only 1. So I can't use PayPal discount. PayPal offer is first come first serve.

I wouldnt call them fragile, you just dont let anything sit on top of them or slam into them and they hold up just fine.
I pack mine last right on top of the wheel well in the bed of my truck, snug against the bed rail by the sleeping bags. Then I just use a couple wood rounds to prop them up at the campsite.

Careful, they are not all in one size. They limit quantity for order and after you place order the price will increase for second order. You have to wait another 15 days or so to get similar price. I did placed 4 orders, in one oder 2 panels are 4" longer than other panel. They don't mention panel size in description. I end up with different length panels.

These are actually awesome..AE sent me these ones, instead of the non bifacials. I run them in parallel and they actually pull in 400 watts. This was connected to my ecoflow delta 2 max. They survived 90 mph highway driving, with lots of cross winds. They also survived 30 mph gust and marble size hail. They mounted to the top of my SUV.

I bought two AeternaSol panels in the last sale. One generated energy like a 180w panel which I'm okay with. The other like 140w panel which I'm not. I've heard many other people get bad panels too. Returning is expensive and risky because you have to pay for expensive shipping and may or may not get reimbursed. I'd avoid this panels unless you are willing to gamble. Odds of getting a weak panel are high and returning isn't worth it

Hm I guess just another name similar to the AeternaSol ones I bought weeks ago. Probably the same stuff anyway but I bought 8 of them and have them in 4s2p and so far they're pumping some decent watts. One got bent to hell but it still works decent
