I get it, but it appears to be 2x the cost. Balance chargers and fuses are a fraction of the difference, with the system appearing to be more serviceable overall given the repairability of setup B.

You could get them for less than 2x the cost, but it's more rare.Balancing is not simple and can cause lots of problem, take a look at diysolar and see how many people find out all the edge cases.It requires keeping a close eye and making sure it's done right otherwise your setup will run at 80% capacity and then start to fail
