This Renogy 200W foldable panel is mainly praised as a portable charging setup for power stations, camping, and phone charging, with built in USB output and easy wrap up storage. Real world output often lands around 140W to 170W in good sun, with some tests reaching about 191W or even close to 200W, and it has worked well with Bluetti, Jackery, Anker, and EcoFlow units. The panel is also described as lighter in the new version at 13 pounds. The main caveats are that output can fall well below the rating, the advertised 65W USB C port appears capped at 45W, and the kickstands or legs can be awkward to set up.

Common Questions (5)

  • It can get close to rated output in strong sun, with reports ranging from about 140W to 200W depending on conditions. Lower numbers are tied to heat, dust, placement on the ground, or partial sun, while clean full-sun setups have hit around 191W-200W.

  • Yes, it has been used successfully with Jackery, Bluetti, and EcoFlow units, including the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2, Explorer 2000 v2, Bluetti solar generators, and EcoFlow Delta 2. Some setups need the correct adapter cable, and one Jackery 2000 v2 user reported a firmware issue where solar input dropped to 0 until Jackery pushed an update.

  • The coupon button needs to be used on the product page, not at checkout. If it still fails, the cart's eligible subtotal after discounts may be below the coupon minimum.

  • Yes, the panel includes built-in USB outputs for phone charging. That makes it useful as a portable charging source even without a power station.

  • The USB-C output is advertised at 65W, but the panel label and a PD meter reportedly cap it at about 45W. That means it can still charge USB-C devices, but not at the full advertised wattage.

It was for my boat, which I am not always at.

What actually failed? BMS? Physical cells are likely fine if it's a BMS failure. Or if BMS went into deep sleep, might simply need a jump start. First time failure sounds like it could just be something else if it wasn't charged and cells balanced properly before using.
I'm not sure.. I'm not really a battery master here.. but I have a NOCO Genius charger set on lithium mode, the battery came with 100% charge. I hooked it up to my trolling motor, and it worked the entire day, now nothing. I emailed the company and didnt hear back.

Did you fully deplete the battery? What did you charge it with after? NOCO likely isn't a powerful enough charger to charge the whole battery unless leaving for many days. If fully dead, BMS might be asleep and need waking up. Look up "NOCO force mode" to see if giving it straight voltage will wake it up. You may need a much bigger charger like at least 20-30A+ made for LiFePO4 batteries.

Yup. This is the exact problem.
The trick is to click on the seller info and see what the address is. I bought some Jackery power stations, and I confirmed with Jackery that they had a store on Ali, and I confirmed the CA address on the page.

I bought this a couple months ago. I measured 191W on a bright sunny day, second place of 5 panels I tested that day. The one disappointment was that it advertised 65W USB-C but the label on the panels and my PD meter thing both said that it maxed out at 45W.
What was number 1?

Renogy's AliExpress site also ells their suitcase style solar panels for a pretty good price. I prefer suitcase style. They seem to work a bit better and less likely to be impacted by light winds.
Though they are a bit less portable

I bought one a while back and I liked it so much. I bought another one maybe a day or two ago. I believe you could link them up so that I could use two of these panels to charge up my battery. Correct me if I'm wrong

This is being sold by Renogy official store. Product ships from a US warehouse, probably the exact same warehouse if you were to order from renogy.com. I have ordered other products from same seller and what I got seemed like authentic Renogy products

I bought this exact panel via AliExpress a few months ago to charge my Bluetti solar generator while powering my 12v fridge, mini rice cooker and other things. It's been great. Just came back from a 5 day camping trip in the Eastern Sierras and no problem. The generator never dipped below 60% and was topped of by end of day. It was warmer weather so the fridge compressor kept running too. It arrived in factory packaging and has performed flawlessly.
