This Renogy 200W foldable panel is mainly praised as a portable charging setup for power stations, camping, and phone charging, with built in USB output and easy wrap up storage. Real world output often lands around 140W to 170W in good sun, with some tests reaching about 191W or even close to 200W, and it has worked well with Bluetti, Jackery, Anker, and EcoFlow units. The panel is also described as lighter in the new version at 13 pounds. The main caveats are that output can fall well below the rating, the advertised 65W USB C port appears capped at 45W, and the kickstands or legs can be awkward to set up.

17lbs vs ~22 for glass panels. Plus these are junk compared to glass.

Yes, I have the Explorer 1000 v2 and used one of these for it. I just purchased a second panel. The 1000v2 has two 200w inputs. I used this cable to connect the solar panel to the Jackery: amazon.com/gp/product/B0FMQ3DKN9/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?smid=A2Y0V4EP3HQQNH&psc=1

I bought this on Amazon for like $180 to use with a Jackery 1000 v2. It worked great. Even when there wasn't bright sunshine, and shade, it was still pulling watts. Watched it hit 200 at some point. But the average when it's nice and bright is around 150-170. I think it gets too hot to pull 200 consistently. The legs are kinda annoying sometimes, so I usually just throw it on the ground without using the legs. I love how it wraps up, etc and you don't have to try and put it in an annoying case. I also fit my 30ft cable in the pouch with the controller, so it's super easy to setup and tear down.

For $99 this is a great deal for a Renogy 200 watt. I would consider another one if I had a need, but the 200 usually does it for me!

Not a bad price. I got the same design but Renogy 220/400W for $137 last year.

Hey everyone! I know almost nothing about solar power, but have been wanting to get into it for awhile. This seems like a good price for a decent product at least. Questions - I want to use this to charge a battery (or power bank or whatever they are called these days). Then from that battery I want to be able to plug in a regular 2/3 plug appliance, with just a typical wall plug. Can this panel be hooked up directly to a batter/power bank? If not what else would I need? Thanks!!!

If your power bank can accept the connector then yes

Thanks glass tiki! What kind of connector do I need to worry about? If my power bank does not have that one, are there converters? Finally, if I plug it in, can I just leave it plugged in indefinitely without it overcharging and blowing something up? Thanks!

Got this last time. typically peaking around 145W on bright sunny days.
Came to Ask this exact question. I have a similar panel, with the exact same stats and I only been getting ~95w out of it. However I do have it on the ground with tall grass around it, and it only gets direct sun from 9am-2pm or so. Although I would have thought that would be peak sun time.

Pulling 160w with direct sun on a clear day. Packing and catalog book look legit from renogy. Would get a few more if they lower the price more in the future.

I have this operating with a Jackery Explorer 2000 v2.

I'm experiencing the issue with the Jackery where the input wattage drops to 0 using the solar panel. Jackery supposedly has a firmware update for the Explorer 2000 v2 which will fix this, I just have to email them and request it be pushed to my Jackery device. https://www.reddit.com/r/Jackery/...cycles_on/

Any reputable power bank that supports solar input should work. You can always get adapters if the plugs don't fit. In terms of safety you should check the max voltage on your power bank but since this is just a 100w panel (most likely 12v) it should work on most things

What was number 1?
I bought a pSolBot solar tracker (not recommended). The 100W no-name panel that came with it was outputting something like 110W that day. All panels were laying flat. You could argue that the rating was incorrect, but I would argue that they were the only ones doing better than advertised, way better than Ecoworthy relative to claimed power.
