Don't bother. There's a reason it's so cheap. One of those things you buy, try it one time and never touch it again before you either give it away or toss it in the trash. I've tried a bunch of different belt squat options and the best cheap DIY is a loading pin with 25 lb plates. Stacked attached to a belt squat belt. You then stand on a pair of elevated platforms. 12 in height is good. ive got a pair of cheap molded plastic sprinkler valve boxes from home Depot. was $50 for two of them. Also work great for box squats. plenty strong enough . That way the weight is centered right below your hips. I'd also recommend using handles on your rack when you belt squat. Makes it easy to stand up the with the weight if you fail with no handles.

I have one, bought it last year, and I attached it to my Titan X-3 rack. It works for me, and I'm 5'3 Big Grin I wish the pin was slightly bigger, so there wouldn't be any slight wobble, but it's not a big deal. $11 is worth it. seen people trying to resell it on marketplace lol

I bought it last year on another slickdeal post and have used it frequently. I am 6' even and it works great for me. If I were shorter, I'd shorten the chain I use to attach the caribeaner to my dip belt. The chain that comes with dip belts is much too long so I got a cheap piece of chain from Tractor Supply for this purpose.
