For $1200 you don't get much of a computer anymore.

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank penguins227

I've used sky tech, they had good customer service and support when I had questions. No issues with my pc from them.

That said, it is sad that this is a decent deal nowadays. Preaching to the choir, I guess.

You should see what Valve wants for a Steam Machine. RTX 3060 and Ryzen 5 5600 tier performance with 16gb RAM and 8GB video memory. $1049 for 500gb storage, $1349 for 2TB storage.

Makes this post look pretty good in contrast.

Wait as in you think it'll go down, or further skyrocket?

Prices will lower and normalize by then like before.

AI data centers will stop gobbling up consumer RAM/storage/GPUs and lean toward enterprise RAM/storage/GPUs.

Agreed. I bought direct from them. Did have the main HDD crash after only a few months (this is why you do full image backups, kids!). Put down a deposit, had a new one (different brand) out in a few days, sent the bad one back and all has been good. They were fantastic.
