If only more devices supported these cards... I get that Google and Apple dropped support because they are greedy wankers who make more money on renting storage, not because of water, consumer protections don't exist in America and indoctrinated consumers are more then willing to be reamed by them, but come on. MicroSD Express cards are backwards compatible with regular MicroSD ports so there's that.

MicroSD Express cards are backwards compatible with regular MicroSD ports so there's that.
If you're talking about in phones, Apple never supported SD/Micro SD cards to begin with. It would have been great if they did, but there's no point calling them out for dropping support they never had.

Apple never let one expand any storage on phones, You forgot Samsung phones. Their tablets let you add mSD.. It was fun while it lasted.

But it's not much different than the brand crap of the 80s and 90s where everyone had to have that starter jacket or what ever brand of the year.
It's just odd that it's become things like toilet paper and memory. $5 a role ... Why not, I'll take a garage full! 😂
