The game starts slow. But if you stick with it and start doing missions via the speeder and off the first world in space, likely you'd start getting into it. Going to other planets, each of which is richly designed, and managing Syndicate relationships, doing side work, even playing the Sabacc card game and betting on the horse tracks, all of it got really fun. Now I think they did a great job on the game. Very enjoyable.
I went for the PC gold edition that includes the dlcs, from a Slickdeal post a couple months back.
