This Lenovo Idea Tab stands out as a budget 11 inch tablet with a 2.5K IPS touchscreen and bundled pen and folio case. The form factor is appealing, and the Lenovo software is described as fairly vanilla for a simple Android experience. The main drawback is performance, especially with 4GB of RAM, which is repeatedly described as sluggish for app switching and general use. The 8GB version is treated as the more usable configuration, making memory the key factor here.
Common Questions (4)
The 4GB version is heavily limited by RAM and can feel sluggish, especially when switching apps or using the UI. For smoother tablet use, 8GB is the safer choice.
Performance is reported as poor on both the 4GB and 8GB versions, with some users describing slow app launches and worse responsiveness than older tablets. The form factor is liked, but the tablet can still feel underpowered for streaming and general use.
The 8GB version is the same tablet and is considered worth the price difference for usability. The 4GB model is the main bottleneck here, so extra RAM matters more than the processor for day-to-day speed.
This model uses a 2.5K IPS touchscreen, not OLED. Lenovo's older P11 Pro Gen 2 had an OLED panel, but this deal's tablet is the newer IPS-based version.
