The Galaxy Tab A11+ 5G deal is mainly a Metro by T-Mobile line add-on offer that can bring the tablet down to about $49.99, with the required tablet service plan adding roughly $20. It works best for existing Metro customers with an active line, and checkout may block if the phone number does not match Metro records or if another order is still pending. Pricing has also bounced between $49.99 and $99.99 during the week, so the offer can shift quickly. A workable option if the Metro account setup lines up.
Existing Metro customers adding a tablet line, because the $49.99 price requires an active Metro line and a $20+ plan.
Yes. The $49.99 price is tied to having an existing Metro account/line and adding a new tablet line, not a true standalone new-customer purchase. Some checkout flows also reject guest checkout unless the phone number matches Metro records.
Yes, the plan can reportedly be canceled the same day the tablet is activated. That makes the promo useful if you only need the discounted device and do not want to keep the tablet line long term.
A new customer can sometimes qualify by first opening a Metro line, then adding the tablet line under the required $20 plan. One example used a new BYOD eSIM line on the $25 plan and then checked out the tablet for $50 with the $20 plan.
No, the listed price has been changing between $49.99 and $99.99 during the week. It is worth checking back or moving quickly when the lower price appears.
Amazing that a $ billion+ company can have a "guest" checkout that doesn't function.
"Sorry, the phone number does not match our records. Please try again with a correct Metro by T-Mobile phone number."
It is actually working exactly as intended, as you must be an existing customer to get this deal there would be no way to check out as a guest.
It is $49 + $20 (service plan) for new customers. If you buy a Moto Stylus 2025 and become a new customer, then you can get this for $49.
I think your wording of this may confuse people here, as a "new customer" cannot really get the deal - you need to be an existing Metro customer, with an existing line then you can add a "new" tablet line for $20.

Yes, you have to be a member to get this deal, i.e., $49. If you're old or new, it doesn't matter. Sometimes they don't offer the same price to existing members or new members. Metro is pretty YMMV, meaning if you already have the main line and two additional lines...they might block you, etc.

I've been seeking opinions on this too. I have an A9+ that is so slow I just don't use it. I'm considering either the A11+ or jumping to Motorola. Ecosystem doesn't matter to me.
I think samsung will have better resale if that matters

how to cancel the line? just stop the payment for second month bill?
The website has a "guest checkout." You can't use it for anything, unless your a customer & have a # with them. Does that sound like a guest checkout?
are you saying they dont sell anything to first time buyer? i used guest checkout a couple times there no problem. as long as youre checking out as first time guest of course.
Good deal to replace my A9+ I got the same way. I made a new BYOD eSIM line on the $25 plan and I was able to checkout the A11+ for $50 with the $20 plan for a total of $70 plus tax.
First do one of the one phone deals, like the A37 or the Moto 2025 Edge. You keep the plan active for one month. Then you do a tablet deal during that month.
If I activate the Sim on sep 25 what would be the date I can order tab? Do I need to complete first month? I meant im already paying $40 for a37. Do I need to keep the same plan for one more month?

You have to do it during the active month. If you do not plan on paying for the phone the second month, do it now if its available and if they have not changed anything

The deal can be structured so the tablet effectively costs about $50 when the $49.99 tablet price is combined with the $20 plan.
Shoppers can sometimes reach the low tablet price by adding a BYOD eSIM line and pairing it with the $20 service plan.
The plan can reportedly be canceled the same day the tablet is activated.
The $49.99 tablet price reportedly requires already being a Metro by T-Mobile customer with an existing line.
Online enrollment can fail during checkout with an error stating the phone number does not match Metro records.
The tablet price can fluctuate between $49.99 and $99.99 during the same week, so the deal may not stay locked.
Deal eligibility can be constrained by timing, since the add must be done during the active month window.
