Hammermill Copy Plus is a standard 20 pound, 92 brightness copy paper case that stands out mainly for convenience and delivered value. The free home delivery is a big plus because the case is heavy, and the paper is described as a quality product at a good price. Pricing has been seen around the high 30s before, so this deal lands in familiar territory. The main caveat is that competing bulk options at Sam's Club and Micro Center can run cheaper per sheet, and long term storage can lead to yellowing.
Common Questions (4)
Yes. The case is described as one of the best paper prices available, with recent comparable deals around $37.99-$38.99 and a prior purchase at $36.99 still considered a good deal. Similar 5,000-sheet alternatives at Sam's Club are listed around $38-$38.98, so this Staples price is competitive, especially with free delivery.
Yes, Staples delivers the case to your home for free. That matters because the box is heavy, and free delivery can make the deal more attractive than a store pickup or price match that doesn't include shipping.
Some coupons work and others do not, so it depends on the specific offer. If a coupon fails, you can remove it and pay with rewards or pay out of pocket, but avoid paying with rewards on a rewards offer because that can prevent earning new rewards.
It can yellow over long-term storage. One report says the paper tinted yellow after about 10 years even when kept in a clean room, so it is better suited for normal use than very long archival storage.

even better, there was a time they'd sell you these free after rebate. and at back to school season they ran FAR single reams all the time. There were a few times it was a money maker too, ie, free after rebate case and $20 off $50 type coupons. were getting paid to get paper shipped to your house.

It fluctuates, been $37.99 and $38.99 on some deals in 2026.
May see it for $36.99 again closer to the holidays.
