No. The Klipsch Reference series is generally not well regarded in the audiophile world. This deal is for a non-audiophile customer who wants a set of matching speakers, and is not concerned about maximizing performance per dollar. There will be substantial discounts on Klipsch Reference Premiere closer to the Holidays, which is probably worth saving and springing for. There are also better deals on Reference gear on Adorama, a very similar kit for $600

Several generations ago, Klipsch's lineup had a clear hierarchy: the Icon series served as the budget tier with aluminum tweeters and noticeably lower build quality, while the Reference series occupied the mid‑range, offering titanium tweeters, sturdier cabinets, and overall superior engineering.
Today, that hierarchy has shifted. The modern Reference line has become Klipsch's entry‑level offering, built with cheaper materials and simplified construction. To get the level of refinement, build quality, and acoustic performance that the old Reference line was known for, you now have to step up to Reference Premier, which uses higher‑grade components, improved cabinetry, and more advanced acoustic design.
I'm seeing OOS? Couldn't find it in warehouse or online. I did try 90210 for CA and they are in stock. I bet they hit the west coast and making their way east over the next week. Will continue to check!
