These might be old stock. I understand the Jet Club was rebranded under the Streamliner last year.

Not old stock. Introduced in 2025. Ignite has poplar body while Streamliner has mahogany body. Other minor stylistic differences. Jet Club is body style; i.e. Ignite and Streamliner are both Jet Clubs. Phil McKnight and Average Joe reviewed this guitar. Google for videos.

I bought one about 2 months ago, last time Amazon did this sale. Was very playable right out of the box.

Has a more modern sound than I wanted so I put an old gold foil pickup in it to sound like an old 50s guitar.

Only bummer is not getting the Gretsch thumbnail fret markers

$108 for a modern imported Gretsch sounds about right imo. If you need a cheap guitar it can't be that bad, right?

Should be pretty decent for a beginner. Might need to get someone to check the set up (or YouTube it). Most minor work can be done without taking it to someone. There's nothing too mystical about a set up unless you have to deal with uneven frets.

They'll need an amp and a cord to connect to it, or even a cheap headphone amp and some headphones for either amp (can play without the rest of the house hearing it).

The Duo-Tone-Burst and Lightning White were both back to $179, and I didn't want the black for $119.

However, I bought the Duo Tone bundle package that includes an amp, gig bag and a few other goodies for $167. That's 40% off the regular $279 bundle price.

I'm not expecting anything great from the amp, but for a beginner package that includes all that's need to make some nice noise, and at this price on a Gretsch labeled guitar, I'll be happy.

By the way, if you prefer either of the other colors, the bundle deal is $167 on those too.
