I have 4 of these in regular use with VR (which is silly stressful use case because they get tugged on and pushed on) and despite having a lot of physical stress on them, all of them unexpectedly still work after like 2-3 years. We've come a long way since Micro-USB.

I wish the shorter, 1.5ft, ones were cheaper.

I've bought these twice. No complaints. I use it on my iPad so I can charge in portrait mode without getting skewered by a cable. Charging is pretty slow, but that's to be expected with USB-A.

I have 4 of these cables. I have no complaints in terms of function, but their construction is a bit weird. They've been durable enough, but odd. The cables get a bit bunched up inside the outer braided sheath, and they develop kinks and lumps.

If you're someone who's really into a perfect, clean aesthetic for your gear, these may not be for you. I also have some similar cables ("etguuds," on Amazon) that don't seem to have the problem, and stay smooth, and lay flat. I've never compared current or data rates between the two brands.
