This Milwaukee M12 FUEL cut off saw is a compact tool for quick metal, tile, and light material cuts, and it comes with batteries and a charger. It handles jobs like metal, siding, porcelain tile, aluminum poles, and even catalytic converters with surprising speed, while staying quiet and easy to use. The small blade limits cutting depth to about 9 16 inch, so it is not suited for thicker tile, doors, or molding. Plastic can melt, and spark direction matters when cutting tin, making it a handy specialty cutter rather than a deep cutting saw.

  • The kit can cut metal, small wood, and siding effectively for common trim work.

  • The saw can handle porcelain tile cuts for shower projects when expectations are tempered.

  • The tool can cut catalytic converters very easily and may pay for itself on that job.

  • The cutting setup can work well for tin and requires paying attention to spark direction.

  • The DeWalt 20V version may offer better blade depth and power without bogging down.

  • The cutting depth is only about 9/16 inch with the 3-inch blade, limiting thicker materials.

  • Cutting plastic can cause melting, so material choice and technique matter.

  • The tool may not be a good choice for cutting off doors, molding, or thicker floor tile applications.

This is a really good cut off tool, the 2 5.0 batteries are a nice bonus.

From the multiple YT videos that I saw, the DeWalt 20V version of this is the one you want. They're similar in size.

One of my favorite tool types, worth every penny however the DeWalt one I like a LOT more. It is bigger, kept the M12 in my truck in case however haven't used it once since I got the DeWalt one. DeWalt has a much smaller head so the blade depth is a lot better. The DeWalt is a lot more powerful, doesn't keep getting bogged down. So worth getting but if you can get the DeWalt one would go that route
