All depends on your needs as to the desired length. My metal cutting projects that these are used for require the shorter blade for clearance. When in the field, and not using the AC cold cut saw, for tubing; the 6" is plenty to handle the cuts.

These are the same blades that were on clearance for $5.60 at HD only 2 weeks ago. Better to wait if you don't have an immediate need

I did see that but missed out on that clearance. I'm not sure if these will go back on clearance this year
