Not bad, but certainly not extraordinary. Also don't like Roku as operating system. Hisense Roku TV and operating system is quite slow and cumbersome compared to other options such as Google or LG OS. The Nvidia Shield Pro could be the way to go. Personally, I would have it as my second TV in the bedroom, the reviews seem to suggest that for $200 you can't go wrong.

Just FYI - it's $218 at Walmart if you don't have a Best Buy near you.

There isn't a good 58" TV on the market today. They all use the lowest end panels.

Got it a couple weeks ago when it was $200. Can't beat it for the money. Works great for a bedroom or other area where you dont need the best possible TV. Coming from someone who does high end residential integration. Dont let all the snobs and nay-sayers sway you- you get 58" for $210 with a smart OS that doesnt lose support like Samsung or other proprietary systems. Is it lightning fast like an Apple TV or a Shield? Well no its not but in no way is it slow or laggy. Do some research to turn off the Roku bloat and you will be good to go. Picture quality is very good for a TV at this price point. Speakers are meh as all TV speakers are but totally listenable. If youre expecting audiophile quality get a soundbar what would you expect two tiny speakers to do???

I just bought this exact TV 2 weeks ago from Walmart for $218 to replace our Hisense 58R6E3 which has a failing backlight and was a replacement to our previous 58R6 which also died. To my eyes the picture quality is noticeably better than the R6, but the speaker/sound quality is slightly worse. At this price, I consider these TVs to be disposable and with daily use and a high backlight setting they seem to last 2-4 years.

Maybe all of my luck went to my tvs and nothing else. Always buy the budget ones, black friday ones, leave them on all day for dogs and forget to turn em off when I go between rooms. Hisense u6gr for over 5 years on max brightness and on 12+ hrs a day without issue.

Got this today. It's an amazing tv for $200. The sound is probably the weakest point. I love the roku integration because it's in my abnb.

Roku sucks
It's not bad at all. I can't imagine being so much of a dufus that an operating system gives me issues.

I got this at Best Buy for 199.99 as an extra TV. It's nice for the price but the brightness is not good and nor are the viewing angles. If you are watching in a dimly lit room, straight on, it's good. Worth the price.
