That's incorrect, I have this TV and it has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and 2 HDMI 2.0 ports. I'm able to pull 4k 144hz no problem.

Hisense U6 Pro is a bright-room focused mini LED TV with strong value at these prices, especially for the 55 and 65 inch sizes. The picture is praised as bright, with good HDR support, and the 55 inch has even been used as a home office monitor. Costco pricing and warranty details also make the line look competitive, with some versions including a three year or five year warranty. Caveats include weaker reflection handling and concerns about HDMI and audio passthrough behavior.

Common Questions (5)

Yes. The TV has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and 2 HDMI 2.0 ports, and it can run 4K 144Hz without issue. That makes it suitable for high-refresh gaming on the right ports.
torian CrimsonHamster5712
It is described as a strong bright-room TV, with higher brightness than the TCL QM6 Pro but worse reflection handling. RTINGS is also cited as recommending the U6 in this price range for bright TVs.
Mood833 thealbinohobo33
No, it is described as using HDR10+ instead of Dolby Vision. That matters if you specifically want Dolby Vision support for streaming or discs.
YourOnlineHero Eragorn
The Costco U65 version is said to include a 3-year Allstate warranty, while the Costco Pro version is said to include a 5-year warranty. That makes Costco's bundle more attractive if warranty length matters.
CC1478 thealbinohobo33
The U6 is described as better for bright-room performance, while the QM6K is described as slightly better if you do not need that brightness. The QM7K is placed a tier above in price and recommendation.

I think both are at Costco but the qm6k is no longer on sale? This model seemed to be brighter but had worse reflection handling was the main thing I remember in comparison

Specs look good on paper but is a bit misleading. The HDMI ports are 2.0 so that's only rated for 4k 60hz. To get 144hz you'll probably need to drop resolution to hit that refresh rate. Also, they tend to cut corners on the internal bandwidth so if you're running at 4k 60hz and using EARC with pass through audio you might get audio drop outs or distortion or black screens.

That's incorrect, I have this TV and it has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and 2 HDMI 2.0 ports. I'm able to pull 4k 144hz no problem.

At this price why not buy Samsung? Any strong reason to go with a Chinese brand? Please share

Do you know anything about TVs? It sure doesn't sound like it.....Please enlighten us on how this is "trash". I'd love to know all the non trash TVs with 144Hz refresh rate for $600.

The 55" should be $500... Maybe that'll be around BF.
