Bought this on the last sale a few weeks ago and what a game changer. Replaced our J7+ and M6 combo. This thing has been a beast so far and we've really been happy with the performance.

Have the previous version of this vac and it is just OK. Definitely disappointed at the obstacle avoidance. You'd think the thing should be able to avoid small toys that are pretty obvious, but nope, it just steamrolls right over them, especially on carpet. I did go ahead and purchase this one and will be returning the old one as I've read that this unit has been significantly improved, so fingers crossed.

Did yours come with an outer cardboard shipping box? Mine came in just the product box like what you'd find on the shelf in the store, which I found a bit odd.

That has been lately the new normal with costco. A lot of customers like me received laptops / macbooks worth $2500 or more just in the product's own original packaging & no outer cardboard packaging. But the product(macbook) inside has been fine. Read the macbook/ laptop reviews on costco.

That's so freaking stupid man. I've been online shopping for over a decade now and this Roborock is the first thing I've ever seen ship to me without a shipping box. Some people like myself actually do care about their products packaging being in good condition. Costco is weird for doing that.

The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Flow, with the new roller mop... really is the superior product. Can regularly be had on sale just under this price, granted without all the extra accessories.

But I've found it to be significantly better than the spinning mops!

Not really, it's different. Maybe better at just purely mopping, but wouldn't call it the superior product all around.It's technically not as powerful in vacuuming and it's not as low-profile to go under furniture (~119mm vs ~80mm) without retractable lidar.This is basically a rebranded Edge 2 from what I've seen and ultimately a bit newer than the curv 2.

I hear the lifespan on these things aren't great so Costco is the only place I'd be willing to drop $780 for something like this. Plus Trump apparently is trying shadow tariff roborock and ban them so get it while you can.

i have a dreame l50 which I have to send back to them for service (logic-board failure on the mop heads). they warn me it will take 4-5 weeks; but reddit users say to expect a LOT more than that. At this point, il pay a little more for a narrower selection of options from costco JUST for their amazing return policy alone.

what extra maintenance do you need to perform on the robot itself (now that is has an internal waste tank)? is the robots dirty water tank at least removeable?
